HICA Scholarships

The Hawaii Island Contractors' Association (HICA) and its co-sponsors, Bank of Hawaii and Honsador Lumber LLC recently awarded four - $750 scholarships to 2nd years college students Jordanah Ah Puck, an architectural major; Mark Anthony Damaso, carpentry; Bronson Gambol, carpentry major; and Allegra Martins, an architectural major. The scholarship recipients attend Hawaii Community College.

For the past nine year, the HICA and its co-sponsors annually hold a Scholarship Trolling Tournament to fund the scholarships for students entering their second year of college or trade school pursuing a degree in a construction-related field.
